랩소디 두번째앨범의 연장선인듯한 앨범이지만 새로운 멤버들과 함께 만든작품으로 익숙하지만 오히려 신선한 느낌이 드는 앨범이다. 루카투릴리만의 스타일을 맘껏 나타내어 랩소디보다 더 선명하고 뛰어난 멜로디를 들려준다. 올라프헤이어의 보컬에도 주목할만한데 멜로딕파워메탈에 최적화된 멋진 목소리와 실력을 지닌 보컬이다. 그당시 pc통신 동호회인 메탈동에 블랙드래곤의 mp3파일이 먼저 올라왔었지만 듣고 샆은것을 꾹 눌러 참았다가 앨범발매 후 들으며 감동했던 기억이 난다. 랩소디 2집과 함께 에픽메탈의 바이블이라 할 수 있는 앨범이다.
