사티리콘과 게헨나는 원곡 모독 수준이다. Kathaarian Life Code는 가장 좋아하는 다크스론 곡인데, 이렇게까지 망칠 수 있나 싶다. 게헨나는 가장 단순한 리프로 사악하고 잔잔한 매력을 내는 Transilvanian Hunger를 속도만 높여 노스코어를 만들어 놨다. 인슬레이브드는 서사적인 구조를 잘 쓰는 밴드면서 왜 다크스론 곡 중 특히 간단한 곡을 선곡해 안 어울리게 커버했는지 모르겠다. 두 인더스트리얼 블랙 메탈 밴드 손스와 Dødheimsgard는 자기 밴드의 개성을 살렸다. 엠퍼러는 뜬금없이 데스 메탈 곡을 선곡했다. 고르고로스는 Gaahl 시절답게 똥블랙을 들려주고, 똥블랙 욕심에 동참한 이모탈도 별로였다.
