Additional notes
Solo project of Melvins's Buzz Osborne.
Regarding the style of this project, King Buzzo jokingly said, "What I'm doing, it's not folk music, it's not heavy metal. It's 'molk,' how 'bout that?"
Roger "Buzz" Osborne, also known as King Buzzo, is the guitarist/vocalist/songwriter and technically the only remaining founding member of the Melvins. (Drummer Dale Crover is often regarded as a founding member, but he joined after the band was formed, though before they had yet recorded an album.) Osborne is also a founding member/guitarist for both Fantômas and Venomous Concept. He was also a high school friend of Kurt Cobain and the bassist for Cobain's first band, Fecal Matter, in 1986. His large, frizzy, afro-like hair lends him a distinctive appearance.
Trivia:
Is a huge fan of film, but never watches TV.
His wife, Mackie Osborne, designed artwork for album covers for many bands (mostly punk) including: Social Distortion, The Offspring, Bad Religion, The Vandals, Tool, Rancid, Circle Jerks, Mr. Bungle, and even for her husband's band the Melvins.
