Threshold were never the most unique Prog Metal band, but here they fall to just average. Music has little energy, few hooks. Some strong compositions, especially the closer "Sunrise on Mars," but most of this is pretty forgettable.

My most played album #306. Threshold - Clone. The 4th album was released in 1989. A Dream Theater meets Kansas sounding concept album about after setting the controls to over the limits while using genetic manipulation to create humans that leads to the development of telepathy, and how these enhanced humans leave the earth to colonize other planets, eventually returning to Earth centuries later. This is another album rising fast in my playlist. Just an amazing band!
