My most played album #396. Threshold - Legends of the Shires. 2017 The eleventh studio album from this amazing band was released in 2017. This is a concept album about "a nation trying to find itself" according to lyricist Steve Anderson. This album is rising fast up my most played list with 23 plays in 27 months. The guitar tone is amazing, the lyrics really hit home with the save the planet theme! #13 in Germany, #14 in Sweden, #31 in Austria. And nobody heard of them in the U.S. except those on my facebook feed who hear about this band all the time! Also check out my favorite album from this band called Wounded Land!

Glynn Morgan je jednoznačne výborný spevák a jeho návrat do Threshold bol výborným rozhodnutím. Hudba je ako vždy výborná a keď sa zamyslím nad spevákmi skupiny, musím zhodnotiť, že vždy vybrali správnych vokalistov s výbornými hlasmi.

지금까지의 Threshold의 앨범 중 가장 별로였습니다.
프록메탈의 오랜 팬으로서 언제나 일정 수준 이상을 들려주던 이들의 신보 소식에 기대감을 가졌으나 이번 앨범은 컨셉을 소화 못하고 펼쳐만놓은 느낌입니다.
임팩트 없는 지루한 전개와 멜로디의 부재..재킷과 앨범 제목이 기대를하게 만들었으나 '용두사미' 앨범이 되고 말았네요.

이전 앨범들은 좀 파워메탈스럽고 밋밋하다고 생각했다. 팬은 아녔으니, 몇번 시도하다가 말았지. 최근작들도 몇번 들어보고는 비슷하게 생각했었다. 그런데 왠걸. 이번 앨범만 특별한건지, 원래 이들의 음악이 이랬는지? 정말로 좋다. 프로그레시브메탈의 클래시컬한 명반이다. 대.단.하.다.진짜 좋다.

이들의 개성을 잘 살린 앨범으로 멜로디도 좋고 곡 구성도 좋아 2CD로 구성되었지만 전혀 지루함이 없다. 앨범 자켓과 어울리는 멋진 앨범이다.
