Additional notes
Not to be confused with Crucifix from Kansas City or Crucifix from Berkeley, California
Crucifix is a Dallas, Texas-based death metal band that advanced beyond its heavy metal roots, eventually changing its sound until it was much more brutal & intense. Crucifix produced three demos & in 1993 came to be signed to JL America for a full-length album tentatively titled Visions of Nihilism, which never saw the light of day. In addition, some members played in a band called Primitivecho & were guest musicians in the Vas Deferens Organization's album Boarding Instructions for Bird Carousels.
