The previous album, La Proiezione del Fuoco, was a stellar piece of musical integration in Anamnesi's career. Caurus has succeeded to its predecessor's musical formula. Progressive, death, black and symphonic elements are interwoven into the sound of this release nicely. But the overall quality of this album seems to be a bit downgraded when compared to its predecessor. The unpredictability in structure is still present, but the lack of memorability makes me feel that way.
