silnou stránkou Unleash the Archers na novinke "Abyss" je okrem inštrumentálnej časti kvalitný melodický ženský spev Brittney Slayes - jej hlas má prirodzenú silu a príjemnú farbu (melódiu). V štyroch piesňach ju doplní mužský spev - 3x drsný rev/krik a jeden krát melodický chlapský spev (ten sa mi páči viac). Hudba sa pohybuje v Melodickom Power Metal -e s príjemný hutným soundom. Album má dobrý zvuk, je pestré, pričom bicie sú nápadité, gitary príjemne riffujú/sólujú, prípadne dopĺňajú piesne vyhrávkami a basa je počuteľne hutná. Album som si vypočul viac krát, a aj napriek skoro hodinovej dĺžke mi vždy pri počúvaní rýchle ubehol čas a hudbu som si vychutnal. Čo je vždy pozitívna stránka hudby. Zároveň zaujímavý je aj predný obal albumu - cover.

Gorgeous & invigorating power metal with true vocal heroics and guitarwork that blows my mind at some points. It also has a really nice ambush of black metal influence in the last song. By the way, is Brittney the one who unleashes the archers and the other bandmates are the archers?

Battle Beast의 Noora 이후의 제일 걸출한 여성 파워메탈 보컬. 파워메탈로의 확실한 방향을 잡으면서도 멜로딕 데스메탈을 했었던 시절의 스킬을 알맞게 데코했다. 현세대의 파워메탈 밴드 중에서도 높은 인기를 구사하는 이유를 납득시켜주는 앨범.

Unleash the Archers는 뛰어난 실력을 갖추고 있지만, 작곡능력이 부족한지 두세곡의 뛰어난 노래를 제외하면 앨범 내의 다른 곡들은 지루한 편이었음. 본작은 제대로 포텐을 터트리며 만들어낸 완성도가 훌륭한 앨범. 초반의 조금 소프트한 곡들은 아쉽지만 중반부터는 제대로 달려줌. 베스트 트랙은 'Return to Me', 'Faster Than Light'

아마란스가 좀 더 정통 파워메탈스럽다면? 데빈타운젠드가 좀 더 대중적이라면? 아마도 그런 느낌의, 시원한 앨범. (좋다는 뜻)

파워풀하고 멜로디 좋고 안 들을 이유가 없다. 여성보컬임에도 곡에 힘이 실려잇어 여성 보컬에 대한 편견이 있음에도 맘에 든다.

Fantastic followup to Apex. Continues the story of The Immortal and The Matriarch. Highlights are the title track, Soulbound, Legacy, Faster Than Light, and the epic final battle depiction- The Wind That Shapes the Land.

와...정말 청량함 그 자체네요. 간만에 머리 흔들며 들을 음악이 있어서 매우 기쁘네요. 여성보컬도 이렇게 파워메탈에 잘 어울린다는 걸 보여주는 명작인듯합니다.
