Benighted ponúkajú štýl, ktorý ide úplne mimo môjho vkusu, no napriek tomu sa nájde na albume "Ekbom" pár zaujímavých prvkov ako energetické bicie, ktoré však počas dĺžky albumu začínajú nudiť, keďže sú stále v podobnom tempe (hlavne klepačky). Riffy sú tiež poväčšinou podarené, no čo ja neviem prijať v štýle Brutal Death Metal, Grindcore je ten prasačí rev (škrekot). Takisto aj rôzne odtiene growlingu idú mimo môjho vkusu.

After listening to some melancholic and moody albums, this ravenous brutal deathgrind made a glorious contrast. I don't gravitate to brutal death metal so much, but I can really respect these guys for doing it so well.
