Prophecies Reviews
(1)Date : Sep 1, 2011
Prophecies is the first album of the Dragon's Cry band released in 2011.
The band plays a melodic power metal with progressive influences and a little of medieval sound.
The album is very good, all songs are different from each other.
"Sounds of a Prophecy" is the intro as usual in the style, but is a little different and well composed.
"The One" is very good and very aggressive, alternating between drive vocals and melodic.
"Judgment and Justice" is a very good medieval metal song.
"King of Zion" starts a little slow and goes evolving, it is very good and with great melody.
"Majestic New Age" is an instrumental, progressive and heavy, with several great riffs.
"Just Like Us" is a narration track and the instrumental is very symphonic, very good.
“A Voice in the Thunder” seemed to be a slow music until it gets strong. Very good music and is a very traditional power metal.
"Desert" is very progressive and heavy, with vocals alternating between bass and treble.
"Tribes of Issar'El" is very melodic with a great melody, and a rise in pitch at the end that was almost unnoticed, which is very good.
“Fates Traced” is another narration track to close the disc.
In short it is a great album, Dragon's Cry does a quality power metal, well made and heavy, with great arrangements and many different influences on each song.
