Twinaleblood je jednoznačne najlepšie album od nemeckej skupiny Pyogenesis, pritom aj najrozmanitejšie, najmenej tradičné a miestami aj najzvlášnejšie. Je to kombinácia viacerých štýlov, pričom niektoré k sebe možno ani nepasujú. Tak, ako je svojský obal, je svojská aj hudba. Chalani prechádzajú od Alternative/Gothic Metal -u občas k Death -u / Doom -u a na druhej strane až pop -u. Hlavný spev je melodický, aj keď nižšie položený a skôr civilný, pritom aj mestami nedbanlivý. Doplnený je občas o vyšší dvojhlas alebo opačne death metalový growling (rev). Zvuk albumu je neučesaný, tvrdý a trošku aj netradičný.
Na druhej strane musím uznať, že album má aj slabšie miesta. Občas akoby nedotiahnuté časti piesní, prípadne až odfláknutý spev (nemelodický).
Dané album už chalani nikdy neprekonali a možno sa kvalitou k nebu ani nepriblížili.

"Twinaleblood" is quite an unbalanced album. It contains songs that are excellent, but also pieces that would be more suitable for a demo recording. Fortunately, there are more successful songs. The album goes through several styles from Doom/Gothic Metal to Alternative Rock. Both guitarists took care of the vocals, with one voice being better and the other weaker.

Insane album from what used to be a strict Death Doom band, but they make this mess of Alternative poppy Gothic Metal work quite well. The heavier tracks are best of course, and it's wildly inconsistent, but the highs are the best of their career so far.
