Some weak points are kinda uninteresting songwriting in some of the first few songs, and Rob Zombie's singing sometimes lacks variety (a tendency for him). The positive points tower over the negative ones though. The guitar sounds are massive and mean! Lyrics are often amusing, and the grooves and beats are pure gold. The hidden track is beautiful and of course track 8 deserves its legendary status. I'm so glad I've finally heard the whole album.

The repetitive sample laden grooving of White Zombie just isn't for me. It's a unique album that could easily be fun for the right person.

이들의 최고작이면서 개인적으로 그루브 메탈 최고의 작품 중 하나로 뽑고 싶은 앨범이다. 흥겹고 쫀득쫀득한 곡들뿐 아니라 그루브 메탈에서 종종 느꼈던 '후반부로 갈수록 늘어지는' 성향이 적은 것도 좋았다.
