A non-existent plane of reality

Abiotic, desolate, Precambrian aeon in earth

And from oceans of abysmal dark
Came primordial forms of life
Devoid of consciousness as we know
A state of pure silent existence
Multicellular proliferation
Organismal embodiment, cages of bone and flesh
Implicit self-replicating chemical patterns
Archetypal source of our being

Life was created, so was death
This sempiternal cycle embracing all to live
In the depths of subaqueous, lightless domain
Ruthless transience of life has begun

Manifestation of the primal eye, to distinguish light from darkness
Nautilus Belauensis, primitive yet grotesquely human

The subterranean, bizarre, uncanny habitant of earth
Which withstood the force of evolution, an artifact from Cretaceous

Last universal common ancestor, into which life was first breathed
Leads to a journey through endless centuries,
As the flame of vitality burns with unquenchable lust
Devoid of anthropocentric chains of morality
The murderous and carnal reign supreme

Struggle for perpetuation, subconscious urge to subsist
To become lethargic, non-existent -the horror awaits all living beings
Gaia, the Great Mother of essence divine, luscious in her offerings
Yet pestilential and malignant, macabre equilibrium

Cygenetic iccusion,
Organisms intertwine in an alimentative, mortal symbiosis
Reprocessing matter as saprotrophic victuals
Torrents of Archeus flow, as above so below

Autolysis, putrefaction -Inorganic substances come back to life
Mass extincions -Scourge inflicted on misfortunate generations

The last era is Anthropocene, species are extirpated by millions
Industrial expansion, plethora of Homo Sapiens
Wreaking havoc on biodiversity

Will this perennial mystery ever unfold -The true purpose and meaning of this mortal coil?
As dwellers of darkness we stride through the unknown
Our remains will be scattered by detritivores in obfuscous soil
