Echoes of extinction,
screams not audible to the ear,
uttered by those, who ruled this world
aeons before men

Their records tell that they brought life
to the still young planet,
only to disport themselves
as they did before

Shaggoths, servants
to the elder ones

Was it by fortuity or by higher will
that they developed a half stable mind
which enabled them to store memories
and recall them as they please

They learned to resist
as their creators unlearned to control
What once was meant to crawl
has now learned to walk

They learned to form into
what ever they were told
Now they form by will
to oppose their oppressors

Amorphous swarm
of gelatinous life
raging ruthlessly
No sense of emotion
no mercy to expect

Formless, primitive
is what they ought to be
Genesis - perverted
the highest form of blasphemy

Their voiceless screams still echo
through the bowels of the world
