4. Hordes of Carnage (Conquest of the Goblin King) (9:34)
a great fortress stood upon lonely hill
to watch the borders of the North
coveted for centuries by the goblin king
he gathered a great host and laid siege
thousands fell upon the battlements
streets running red with the blood of the slain
as the battle raged on and on
no end in sight
great goblin host
gathered in thousands
great machines of war
towers, ladders, and trebuchets
to defeat the walls of old
noble men of the North gather to defend
archers line the battlements
aiming for the trolls
too many are pouring through
scaling up the walls
not enough to hold the wall
retreat to the keep
bodies pile in the streets
running slick with blood
war trolls brought to slaughter
northmen die to save their home
gates now broken
goblin horde pours in to flood the streets
defenders cut down as they run to the keep
kill
pushed to the keep and surrounded
northmen make a stand
brave men fight to the death
goblin bodies pile and pile
shield wall holds the dark horde away
pray to old gods to win the day
shields are sundered, armor broken
goblin king smiles, his victory near
war trolls break through, bringing doom
fortress now a bloody tomb
northmen defend, a handful left
thousands of goblins dead in their wake
the goblin king victorious takes his throne
and claims glory
his horde prepares to march farther North
the cities of man now vulnerable
he hangs the heads of defeated enemies upon the battlements
a warning of what is to come
even gods cannot save mankind from the coming storm
bow to the goblin king
he will conquer man
hordes march farther North
mankind will fall to the green tide
cities now free to slaughter
an age of goblins has come
mages mount a last defense
now back on the throne
horde now stopped by ancient sorceries
but can they hold?
to watch the borders of the North
coveted for centuries by the goblin king
he gathered a great host and laid siege
thousands fell upon the battlements
