I stare upon the world through a veil of flies
Filtering my gaze through a septic swarm

And my vision, a monochrome schematic of darkness and fear
Where existence and death are so closely intertwined that life is barely real

Perhaps every soul must hide behind this veil, or face the insanity of our existence

We wear a mask of lies emblazoned with the marks of faith and distraction
A facade of ignorance which conceals reality beneath its cold frame

Death is calling but we hear nothing
For our ossicles have been destroyed by angels of sanity

Foreboding - I sense an impending fear

This procession leads to death
There is no other path to follow

We can only survive by blinding
We stare through this veil of flies
So that we can see nothing
