미국의 Stoner/Doom/Folk Metal 밴드 The Flight of Sleipnir 의 3번째 정규앨범 Essence of Nine
Essence of Nine은 Northern Silence 레이블 소유의 둠메탈 레이블 Eyes Like Snow에서 발매된 앨범으로장르는 그냥 사이키델릭 Stoner Metal 로 생각하면 되는 밴드다.
Doom, Folk, Stoner, Experimental, Melancholic, Atmospheric 단어들이 생각나는 음악을 들려 주는데 클린 보컬, 어쿠스틱 기타들을 예전 앨범들보다는 더 사용하여 살짝 부드러워진 측면이 있다. 잔잔한 익스트림메탈 듣고 싶을 때 딱 맞은 앨범이다.
앨범을 다 듣고 나면 분명히 잘 만든 앨범이긴한데, 아주 잘 만든 앨범은 아닌듯한 느낌이 든다.
다음 앨범은 너무 뻔한 패턴으로 계속 진행하는 단조로운 면만 극복해서 나오면 좋을 거 같다.
