Additional notes
With his main project Alcest and the short-lived Amesoeurs, Neige is considered the inventor of the blackgaze genre.
He defined his collaboration with Peste Noire as a juvenile error done for the sake of music and detached himself from them and related bands, claiming to be anti-racist and anti-Nazi, and openly supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
"Neige" means "snow" in French.
He played guitar for Emma Ruth Rundle during her 2015 US tour with Alcest playing several songs on stage with her every night.
He also joined Vampillia on additional vocals during their 2019 European summer tour and did a guest appearance on a Kælan Mikla show in Reykjavík in november 2021.
