I do not think Alconaut have a good sense of naming their tracks. Even though some tracks of this album are named 'Ascending', the overall quality of this album has 'descended' from their previous effort. The groovy and fuzzy riffs with intermittent shouted vocals sound pretty good on some tracks and make this album look like a sumptuous proggy stoner metal. Especially the trilogy of the songs, 'Ascending' is quite awesome. But overall, it falls short of my anticipation.
