One of the most satisfying sounds I've heard recently. Extremely atmospheric while keeping it very heavy for the whole combination, and the very well developed melodies and arrangements lend a feeling of great tragedy. The vocals are rather deathy despite it being black metal, but the guest vocalist is totally blackened, which I preferred. Either way, a great album from an amazing January.
