There is no escaping what we feel in the air
But is reality to much for you to bare
A silver tounge in the mouth of a liar
Is what will guide us on the road to expire

Why do you defend
Every prospect of the end
You can play your game
But it's coming all the same

Will we ever come to realize
We brought this on ourselves
Will we see another sunrise
Before we have to close our eyes

Can't you discern the obvious connection
Between action and consequence
Without question, without critical eyes
Remaining passive as we reach our demise

Do we evolve only to implement destruction
Aware of the outcome but we refuse to change

Are we not better than to look the other way
As if it matters what the liars have to say
