중제 유럽분위기의 포크음악으로 이런 스타일을 매우 좋아하는 나로써는 매우 좋게 들은 앨범이다. 포크음악이지만 풍성한 악기사용으로 빈공간이 전혀 느껴지지 않는 꽉찬 사운드와 뛰어난 멜로디로 화려한 느낌까지 들게 만든다. 앨범 전체적으로 넘길만한 곡이 없는 매우 좋은 앨범이다.

리치블랙모어가 자기 와이프랑 만드는 (결혼은 2008년에 했다지만 본작 나오기 8년전부터 동거중이였으니) 미디발 포크로, 중세느낌 짙은 프레이즈를 뽑아내는 블랙모어의 어쿠스틱 기타가 골목골목에서 빛을 발하며, 일렉기타를 잡으면 하드록적 터치의 정수를 보여줍니다. 중세 유럽을 방랑하는 집시와 보헤미안의 감성으로 뽑아낸, 매우 듣기 좋은 수작입니다.

캘틱 포크라는 장르를 입문하게 해준 밴드. 리치블렉모어 음악 하나씩 듣다가 이게 리치블렉모어의 음악이라고? 하고 놀랐었지요. 매우 좋습니다.
