"The Carnival Bizarre" album is killer from start to finish, full of great bludgeoning riffs and fuzzed out leads any Black Sabbath fan will rejoice in. This is band's most focused album ever, forging a batch of classic songs that are on par with nearly anything conjured by the band’s influences. Also album has an excellent cover, which will prepare an enthusiast of strange paintings for long and pleasing moments looking for interesting details.

Not actually Doomy, Cathedral move on to full Stoner Metal here, and unfortunately the music is much more lackluster because of it.

Kick-ass Stoner/Doom Metal stuff. The riffs are just out of this world, man!
