Velvet Incandescence Comments

The main musical structure of this album was developed by the proggy mix of shoegaze and post-metal in a blackened death metal way. It does sound like a brilliant formula to make a good-tasting cocktail. Unfortunately, the band's formula does not fit in making a tasty cocktail in my opinion. Some tracks have heavenly moments, but, overall, it is lacking in consistency and originality in both sound and structure.
