Heáfodbán switches things up between pagan BM and war metal, and sometimes it's hard to notice exactly when things switched because it's these transitions that really show their great composing skill. There's also a trace of depressive BM in there, and it works wonderfully like the rest of the metal. The last two tracks, folk & drone, are okay to my ear, but the rest of the album is straight up rapturous.
