Paenil Era is the third Romanian band I've tried listening to after Negură Bunget and Dordeduh. It is utterly a melodic release, but not blackened enough compared to other black metal releases. The delicate tremolo riffs with post-metal influences vitalise each track, giving uplifting and dark energies to the album at the same time in a contrasting way. Overall, it would be an interesting release for those who love the melodic side of blackened metal.
