Panopticon na albume "the rime of memory" ponúka celkom podarený Atmosférický Black Metal s občasnými folkovými (kľudnejšími) pasážami a naopak priamočiarejšími tvrdšími časťami. A s kvalitným zvukom.

개인적인 기준으로 같은 프레이즈가 4번 이상 반복되면 슬슬 짜증이 밀려오기 시작하는데 본작은 비록 그 두 배를 가볍게 넘어가 이게 대체 뭐하는 건가 하는 생각이 들었지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 완주가 가능했던 것은 아마도 치밀한 구성과 더불어 이 밴드가 그려내는 몽환적인 이미지 때문에 환각이 일어난 게 아닐까 싶었다.

Extremely cathartic music from Panopticon. So close to giving it a perfect score. I'm thinking it his 2nd best so far. 1 hour & 15 minutes went by quickly. Definitely my pick of the day.
