It is a straightforward-sounding album, reminding me of Bolt Thrower to a certain extent. Especially the opener, 'Archaic Magick', is a good track to initiate a doomed journey. But the rest of the tracks are not as appealing as the opener, diminishing the musical spell of this album.

Runemagick na albume "Beyond the Cenotaph of Mankind" kombinujú Old School Death Metal švédskej školy, spolu s Doom Metal -om. Album sa pohybuje v strednom tempe, zvuk gitár a ostatných nástrojov je slušný. Nevýhodou je čiastočná jednotvárnosť a monotónnosť jednotlivých piesní.
