Additional notes
Concrete Sox were arguably one of the first bands to play the "crossover thrash" sound, blending their hardcore background with metal-inspired riffs. While playing crossover thrash music, the band also had their crust punk roots intact in their music. Their post-90's material shows a more hardcore/crust punk sound than crossover style of music.
The band has made parody versions of songs from many bands. "Moustache (Acting Like A Maniac)" is a parody of Metallica's "Whiplash", "At Tea With Satan" is a play on the Venom song title "At War With Satan" and the song "Speak Siberian Or Die" (also known as "Speak Japanese Or Die") is a parody and anti-racist response song to Stormtroopers of Death's song "Speak English Or Die."
Reformed by founder Vic Timoveric (aka Vic Croll) in 2009.
