Exceptional stage presence, bombastic guitar riffs, groovy rhythm section, atmospheric keys, thoughtful lyrics and the unmistakable voice of singer Alona Levina: that's what makes SACRED GROOVE!
It's hard to imagine the scene without the four-piece formation from the Lower Rhine in Germany and they can enthuse fans and music press alike: many big magazines reported euphorically about the special quartet and even Germany's biggest hard rock and metal magazine, Metal Hammer, certified the band "passionate melodic metal" with "a lot of energy" while Orkus magazine even identified a "new star in the female fronted sky"! That this high praise was very justified is proven by the previous releases "Needful Things" (2011) and "The Other Side" (2015) with the corresponding music videos.
As a foretaste of the new album "M S T R P L N", which will be released in June 2021, the quartet released the single "Ghosts of Yesterday" and produced a music video for it under the direction of the renowned director and producer Mirko Witzki (Beyond the Black, Elvellon etc.), which received mass views in a very short time.
Live the band is a unique experience: the infectious energy of the four is unsurpassed and the full sound carpet with virtuoso elements paired with the enchanting voice of the exceptional singer Alona immediately captivates every listener. So it is not surprising that the band has already been a guest at numerous festivals and also always ended up in the finals of several national and international music contests!
