Additional notes
In the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, Utumno (also called Udûn) was the ancient northern fortress of Melkor, delved in the time of the Lamps of the Valar. It was reduced to ruins when the Valar made war on him at the time of the awakening of the Elves.
