In Mayan mythology, Xibalba, roughly translated as "place of fear", is the name of the underworld, ruled by Mayan death gods and their helpers.
Not to be confused with the metal/hardcore band Xibalba (from California), who have a similar band logo and also practice Mexican heritage in their lyrics.
