The crops are failing, my people fade
On our Southern border, we are assailed,
My eyes are shut to my Second Sight and
The spirits of our Dead have all abandoned me.

My vigil is my own
I'm King of the Wasting Throne.

The Solstice Sun will seal my fate (Here comes the Dawn, here comes the Dawn).

My eyes are burned by the strength of revelation
As my fickle Wife betrays me to my death;
