1. March (7:02)
The hope I felt years ago,
the smile for ignorance I owe.
Disappeared.
Despair only grew,
if only you knew.

Nations caught on selfish gloom,
despite certain doom.
Third rock from the suns viral destruction,
mass extinction on the horizon.

Neglected children of the cosmos,
fathers of indulgence inducing trance,
egoism infested, the earth was lost.

The hope I felt years ago,
the smile for ignorance I owe.
Disappeared.
If only you knew.

No pain worse than being alone,
But I won’t be an ignorant clone,
I won’t join the march to our grave,
I won’t step in time,
Be moneys slave.

Nations caught on selfish gloom,
despite certain doom.
Third rock from the suns viral destruction,
mass extinction on the horizon,
caused by mans greed and corruption.
Neglected destruction, oblivion,
occasional telethon and sponsored marathon,
does not change the stratification.
Children born to poverty,
no chance to those shackles free.

We march.
We march.
