Visions Lyrics

Bring forth a man
Who can interpret my dreams
These horrible visions
That haunt my nightly sleep
The magicians and astrologers
They couldn't figure it out
They needed more information
So they could find an answer
If they did not make known
The dream to the king
Then they had prepared
Lying and corrupt words
The Chaldeans answered
"There is not a man upon earth
That can show this matter
Only gods who dwell not in the flesh"
The king then made a decree
Acting out of anger and fury
All the wise - they must die!
One man answered
With counsel and wisdom
And in a night vision
All the king's secrets were revealed
Daniel told the king
"There is a God in heaven that makes secrets known
These thoughts came to me...
While I slept"
For his interpretation
The king made Daniel
A very great man
And ruler over Babylon
Serve the Lord
And you will have the answers
But seeking wicked counsel
Only invites disaster!
