Born into this world under a penalty of death
Our lives are not our own
From birth

We either choose to live or we choose to die
Our conscience is born dead from birth

Taught at a young age
The right and the wrong
But never taught the truth about God or how to choose for ourselves

We're lead around from birth like a dog on a leash
Everything we know in life is known by what we have seen

We can contrive doctrines that only lead men astray
We can teach the world but most of the time we know not what it says

There is one thing we can be certain of
We are all born with a sinborn conscience

We teach our youth of a God that doesn't allow choice
What is wrong with this picture if we are born with free will to choose, to think

This life that those believers lead
Today has become a compromise
Christianity teaching to allow sin

The truth in the Word tells us of our calling in life
Taught we are released from death, the only way out
