This might be the greatest metal album I’ve ever listened to. No words can explain how truly awe inspiring this album is. There’s nothing it does poorly. Kadeem France throws in downright absurd cleans and screams, the instruments are mixed and performed perfectly, and the environment starts at the album art and flows through the whole album, making it feel so connected even though the songs are so different. Coming from the Metalcore scene, I definitely hear a bit of core inspiration in there, but there’s so many sounds that it makes it such a unique listen. It’s absolutely amazing. No album compares when it comes to how put together this is. My personal favorites are New Faces In The Dark and Heavy Is The Head, which is the perfect demonstration of this album for me. Two completely different sounding songs, both made masterfully, off the same album.
