druhé album pokračuje v Heavy Metal -ovom štýle, avšak oproti debutu sú piesne silnejšie a je aj rozmanitejšie. Gitarové riffy sú variabilnejšie a prepracovanejšie, sóla sú pestrejšie a nápaditejšie. Bicie a basa dopĺňajú hudbu, avšak taktiež nabrali na kvalite. John Bush naďalej spieva nižšie položeným, mierne chrapľavým spevom (oproti výškovým spevákom v rámci štýlu), avšak ak je potrebné, vie využiť aj výškový spev. Podarené, dalo by sa napísať "už dospelejšie" a nápaditejšie album. Zároveň aj obal je podarený (vrátane súvisiacej zadnej strany), aj keď je to odklon od rytierskej témy, ktorou sa prezentovali na ostatných albumoch z daného obdobia.

Armored Saint is probably best known as the former band of John Bush, while his days and quality work with this band is often overlooked. Delirious Nomad contains the best Armored Saint songs packed with a clear and heavy production. Armored Saint’s second studio recording offers strong Heavy Metal. Nothing more, nothing less.
