I love this band. This release's instrumentation is more articulate and nuanced than 99% of black metal, and it's control of atmosphere & mood is greater than 99% of not-black-metal. Somewhat lo-fi but pretty clear. The melodies reach deep into my subconscious and I don't even understand what's happening in there. It might sound weird to you, but it's what I like.
