Druhé album kapely English Dogs "Forward into Battle" ponúka oproti predošlému albumu (debutu) a EP-čkách zmenu v štruktúre piesní a aj zvuku. Album je oproti predošlým metalovejšie, pričom hudba kombinuje Crossover a Heavy/Power Metal a spev sa pohybuje v Punk -u / HC a občas aj tvrdšom metal -e. Jednoduché, dookola opakujúce punkové prvky sú na tomto albume minulosťou. Gitarová práca a aj bicie sa celý čas pohybujú v metal-ových vodách a okrem riffov a vyhrávok používajú aj sóla. Zvuk je trošku viac špinavý, ale v tomto prípade to moc nevadí.
