참 한결같은 사운드의 바이킹 악사입니다. 구슬프면서도 흥이 배어있는 악곡은 민초의 심정과 전사의 호전적 기세를 아울러 표현해 내는듯합니다. 다만 조금 밋밋해진 감이 있고, 처음에는 신선했던 장르이나 다섯번째 작품이 되다보니 평범하게 들리기도합니다. 메탈적 요소가 꽤 줄어들었고 포크적 어프로치와 인스트루멘틀 파트의 비중이 매우 높아졌습니다.

바이킹장인의 섬세한 터치가 있어 다른 바이킹메탈 밴드들과 여전히 미묘한 차별성을 두지만 슬슬 매너리즘에 빠지고 계시다. 고향땅 아이슬란드 여정을 한번 다녀와서 기분전환 후 천천히 차기작을 쓰면 좋을듯

Falkenbach is really good at one thing and one thing only: Viking Metal. For years they've put out works of amazing quality. Props to that.
