사운드에 있어서는 이게 과연 데스메탈, 그것도 황금기에 나온 데스메탈인가 싶은 의문이 있다. 실력을 논하는게 아니라 들려주는 사운드가 초창기의 데스/스래쉬에서 아방가르드한 면을 도입한, 쉽게 종잡을 수 없는 느낌을 주기 때문이다. 마치 켈틱 프로스트의 to mega therion이 주는 애매함 같은... 여러번 들어도 꽤나 어려운 (음악 자체는 단순해도...) 앨범이다.
