Thick and sick. I kinda feel like I'm hearing Cult of Luna play a Meshuggah song, yes because there are some somewhat djenty parts. It's hypnotizing while angrily plodding through the sludge of a quagmire. There's also a kind of peacefulness to it. Very good album by a great band.

Isis 의 첫 정규 앨범. 앞선 EP 앨범들에서 보여주었던 거친 느낌은 약간 정제되었지만, 이들 특유의 질척이는 리듬과 점진적인 곡 구성은 여전히 매력적이다.
