심포닉함이 있는 수작 블랙메탈. 지글거리는 기타와 얇으면서 사악한 보컬이 잘 어울리고, 깔끔한 드럼소리의 질감과 키보드의 선율이 멋진 조화를 이룬다. 88점.

심포닉하다고 느껴질정도의 신스로 듣는 맛이 일품이다. 타이틀 트랙인 Tårnet은 스크리밍이 하나도 없지만 분위기 하나로 노르웨이의 춥고 어두운 분위기를 잘 표현했다.

블랙의 초기에 발매된 음반이라 어떤 장르에 구애받지 않도록 정형화되지 않을 자유분방함의 블랙을 맛볼수 있다는 것 자체가 크나큰 의미를 가지며 그당시 블랙의 선구자들이 블랙을 어떻게 이해를 하면서 생산해 가고 있는지에 대한 공부를 해 볼 필요가 있을 것으로 충분히 의미 전달 되어지는
