Manticora vydala po šesť ročnej odmlke nové album "Mycelium", ktoré kombinuje Power Metal s občasnými prvkami Prog., Groove alebo aj Melodického Death Metal -u. Zneje to všelijako, ale to všetko počujem v ich hudbe, čiže tvrdé riffy doplnené o melodické linky, kvalitný melodický spev, ktorý taktiež dopĺňa občasný rev/growling (tu mi trošku trvalo, než som si to všetko zladil) a úderná rytmika. Album je dosť podarené, no paradoxne ma na prvé a ani druhé vypočutie moc nezaujalo. Musel som mu dať viac šancí, čo sa následne vyplatilo. Možno práve tá rozmanitosť a z počiatku aj nejednotnosť mi bránila v lepšom zážitku z hudby (čo sa ako som písal vyššie zmenilo). A aby som nezabudol, nahrávka ma taktiež podarený zvuk.

great album by Manticora. They mix several styles from Power/Heavy Metal to Melodic Death Metal.

The fusion bettwen prog, death and power is pretty nice. Btw the band is terrible live.
