내가 찾고 있던 완벽한 멜데스래쉬! The Haunted는 너무 텁텁하고, Ebony Tears나 Darkane이랑은 그닥 안 맞고, Dimension Zero는 좋지만 어딘가 아쉬운 마당에 나타난 한 줄기 빛과도 같은 앨범이었다. 예테보리의 그것이 들리는 것도 은근한 재미.

2집을 먼저 접하고 1집을 접했을 당시 다소 꺼끌꺼끌하고 과도한 쇠맛 리프가 부담스러웠다. 들으면 들을수록 특유의 멜로디가 터지는 구간도 있고, 모던 스래쉬에서 흔히 보이는 멋진 리프들이 여기저기 많이 널려있다. 꾸준히 들어봐야 진가를 알아볼 수 있는 그런 앨범이지만, 2집과 3집의 완성도에 비해서는 약간 뒤지는건 어쩔수 없는 사실.
