Released in the same year that Nightfall by Candlemass, the album brings a mix of traditional heavy metal with the oldschool doom metal. The riffs are killers. Evil Seed, Broken Vows, Burning Savior and Wartime are definitely the highlights of this albm.

아날로그 감성이 많이 풍기는 느린 템포의 작품이다. 묵직함은 크지 않지만 하드락을 기반으로 초기 둠 메탈 지향적인 사운드 연출을 느낄 수 있다. 그러나 1971년부터 활동한 밴드라서 그런지 하드락 거물들의 영향에서 자유롭지 않다. 블랙 사바스에 평범한 보컬을 데려다 놓은 모양새다. 대체로 하드락을 느긋하게 즐기는 취향의 매니아들에게 어울린다.

Huge improvement over their debut. Riffs are really strong here, and the rhythm section got a lot more interesting.
