젠트 부흥기에 출범한 숱한 베드룸 기타리스트들은 악기로 기인열전에만 힘쓰는데 톤은 메슈가 톤에만 미쳐있어서 다 비슷비슷한데 귀까지 피곤하다. 그러나 플리니는 다르다. 미묘한 텐션으로 불안정함을 주는 가운데에도 플리니 특유의 따뜻한 톤이 감상을 편안하게 이끌어준다. 그러면서도 비장의 순간에 16분음표를 후루루룩 터뜨려주는 Kind의 매력을 보라.

이 양반 기타연주는 밝고 섬세하고, 좋은 연주의 정석을 들려줘서 역으로 어떠한 벅차오름이나 감흥이 덜하다는 배불러터진 평가를 하게 만듭니다. 집중해서 들어도 멋지지만, 집중하지않고 심심한 귓속으로 흘려보낼 음악이 필요할때도 좋은 선택지입니다. 재즈에 조예는 없으나, 이런 곡쓰는 재능은 음악 재능중에서도 비범한 편이겠지요. 복잡한 화성학 세계.
