I really don't need vocals to be in all music, but with this album he incorporated vocals and this allowed him to create a very powerful sense of melancholy. The songs are all motivated due to this. Also, the ambient sections are better than the earlier releases. Overall, it's a solid good album and a big step up in quality. Great work, Shadowland.
