It is a great soothing neo-folk album applauded by many as one of the greatest debut albums. There are some musical similarities between this album and Ulver’s Kveldssanger released in 1996. I think this one is the evolved version of Kveldssanger because the depth of musical expression is deeper. A feeling of solitude is well presented and articulated in a very soothing way. This album is kind of healing music to me.
